The SCOPEMA Test Centre
We now have our own test bench, adjacent to our main factory in Oradour-sur-Vayres (a refurbishment of our old factory!).
This is excellent news, because we’ll be able to carry out R14 (European standards) and FMVSS / CMVSR 207 and 210 (North American standards) tests on our products: seats, benches and swivel seats.
These tests will enable us to speed up the development of our products carried out by our R&D and Design Office departments, as well as enabling us to carry out our own homologation tests when they are carried out under the testimony of a representative of a certification authority.
Now, by carrying out these tests ourselves, we are saving precious time and reaffirming our expertise in the field of safety.
In addition to our own needs, we will also be able to offer testing services to third parties looking for available test benches, to make up for the recurring lack of available slots on the test benches of certification bodies for study or approval tests.
A boost for SCOPEMA
This new equipment will have a considerable impact on the development of our business by speeding up the crucial homologation phase.
We’re already looking ahead to the possibilities offered by this test bench, which could be another good news on the horizon!
