French manufacturer Scopema has begun deliveries of its new bench seat on rails, available in fixed or sliding versions, with 1 to 3 seats. The result of a year of research and development, this bench seat for converted vans and minivans stands out from the competition thanks to its 100% adhesive fixing process. The result is a lightweight product, weighing between 70 kg and 140 kg depending on the model and configuration chosen.

Scopema, France’s leading manufacturer of motorhome seats and benches, continues to grow but says it is very concerned about new European standards
Scopema, based in Oradour-sur-Vayres, exports 60% of its bench seat and seat production internationally, mainly to Europe.
Since 2004, this Haute-Vienne-based company has been required to carry out crash tests in vehicles to demonstrate that its bench seats are resistant. Two years later, the company developed a European patent, leading to the approval last year of the bench seat with a highly secure three-point seat belt. This was a significant investment of tens of thousands of euros, which enabled Scopema to grow and even recruit new staff.
